Brass Ensemble
Thames Fanfare Brass Ensemble is a very versatile combination from the popular quintet to the 10 piece and the large brass ensemble.
In December 2012 the quintet raised £675 for the charity Kids for Kids playing at Euston Station. Later in the month they performed at the celebrity concert for the charity which raised £10,000 in total. Several years ago our larger ensemble played at a wedding in which the world renowned composer John Rutter conducted the ensemble playing his music.
You will find our Brass Ensemble playing at all the major venues in The City of London; such as The Mansion House, Guildhall, The Banqueting House and many of the Livery Halls throughout the year performing music for various banquets.
The group’s musical repertoire embraces six centuries of music from Handel to Sullivan, from Gershwin to Lloyd-Webber. This large and varied library of music enables Thames Fanfare Brass Quintet to perform at any function from background music to a concert platform.
The Brass Quintet is particularly effective in cathedrals and churches playing music for funerals, weddings and other services. With the Brass Quintet you get musicians who have been working in this field for over 30 years so you are guaranteed both an enjoyable and professional performance every time.
